Chile Habañero Sauce


  • 5 Los Chileros Habañero Chiles seeds removed and sliced
  • 2 carrots thinly sliced
  • 2 tsp olive oil
  • 2 tsp garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp vinegar
  • salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 250 ml water


  • Finely process the carrots and habañero peppers in a food processor or high-powered blender.
  • Heat the oil in a sauce pan and add the minced garlic.
  • Add the ground carrot and habañero chile mixture. Saute all until carrots are soft.
  • Stir in the vinegar.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Add water and simmer until the sauce has thickened to taste.
