Los Chileros Chile Chipotle Whole

Chipotle en Adobo

Ingredients
  

  • 12-15 Los Chileros Whole Chile Chipotle stemmed and slit lengthwise to remove seeds
  • 3 cups water
  • 1/2 medium onion sliced
  • 6 tbsp ketchup
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar

Instructions
 

  • Simmer all ingredients in a covered pan for one hour, stirring occasionally or until liquid reduces to about a cup.
  • This hot and deliciously smoky flavored sauce can be added to just about anything.
  • For puree, place chiles and sauce in a blender and puree.
